The RC industry offers today a variety of propellers balancers, but what about making your own using your imagination, some humble leftover materials and your craftsmanship as any model builder has.
I gathered a suitable size and shape piece of wood (part from wrecked furniture), a piece of steel wire 3mm thick and a pair of wheel axis retainers. From an old plastic balance jig (dated back in 1991) all that was salvageable were the two most precious copper cones!
I followed some simple steps to assemble the balancer as you can see in the following photos.
It took me about 20 minutes to gather the various parts and assemble the balancer. I enjoyed too much, I hope you too!
